More than 20 years of experience across yacht design, commercial shipbuilding, marine engineering and technical management.
Originally from Naples, I graduated in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the University of Naples Federico II. My professional background spans design offices, shipyards and vessel operations — an experience that shapes how I approach every project.
As General Manager of NEA Ship and Yacht Design FZC in Abu Dhabi, I coordinate engineering and consultancy work for yachts and commercial vessels. The scope ranges from hull and structural design to systems integration, construction supervision and owner’s representation.
My earlier experience on the commercial shipowner’s side covered bulk carriers, cement carriers and container ships, bringing technical management into contact with insurance, vessel transactions and operating requirements. Today I draw on that background in yacht refit planning, technical management and owner’s representation, alongside captains, yards and specialist advisers.
I work in Italian, English and French, connecting the Gulf with the Mediterranean and European shipbuilding industry.

My background includes the day-to-day technical and commercial responsibilities of operating merchant ships. It gives me a practical understanding of the links between the vessel’s design, its construction, its documentation and the demands of ownership.
Shipowner operations
Experience with bulk carriers, cement carriers and container ships, including technical management and the commercial context of keeping a vessel in service.
Insurance & vessel transactions
Experience with Protection & Indemnity (P&I) and hull & machinery insurance, together with vessel sale and purchase and the associated technical considerations.
Maintenance, safety & security
Planned maintenance systems (PMS), safety management systems (SMS) and working knowledge of International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) requirements.
Class, flag & construction
Coordination with classification societies and flag administrations, including flag changes, connected with design reviews, construction surveillance and technical surveys.
For a yacht owner, this means a naval architect who can look beyond an individual drawing or repair and understand how a technical decision affects maintenance, operating requirements and the wider responsibilities of ownership.

The anchor and its entwined rope carry the initials of my family. It is a personal signature: a connection to where I come from, carried into the work I do today.
