My career connects naval design, construction and surveys with the commercial and operational responsibilities of ship ownership. That perspective now informs my work with yacht owners.
I am Francesco Rossi, an Italian naval architect and marine engineer based in Abu Dhabi. Through NEA Ship and Yacht Design, I work with owners, builders and design teams on the decisions that shape a vessel and its life at sea.
My earlier work with bulk carriers, cement carriers and container ships included operational management, marine insurance and vessel sale and purchase. Experience with planned maintenance, safety and security systems, class and flag matters helps me see the operating consequences of a design or shipyard decision.
